(C64) Sixies
A downloadable game
Sixies is a fast-paced Commodore 64 puzzle game where players place, rotate, and merge dice across a compact grid. Match three touching dice of the same value to create the next number, trigger chain reactions, and build toward powerful sixes that clear space and increase your score. With bold retro graphics, energetic SID sound, animated effects, and increasingly difficult decisions as the board fills, Sixies is easy to learn but challenging to master.

Download the file and either run it on an installed Commodore 64 emulator on your computer (MacOS, Windows or Linux) such as VICE, or run it on original Commodore hardware.
Commodore 64 emulator;
Using VICE, just drag the PRG file into the emulator window or use the select file option from the drop down menu.
Original Hardware;
On the real C64 hardware, copy the PRG to a compatible SD-card device or disk image. Load the PRG with Load"*",8,1 then Enter. Type Run to launch the game.

Control Instructions
Use WASD or a joystick to move, Q/R to rotate, and Space or Fire to place dice.

Excellent dice game. 264 points on my first try :)
Interesting game π
I canβt wait for the full version.
As the editor of βK&A Plusβ magazine, Iβd like to suggest including a physical copy of this game among the titles in our next compilation of games on cassette tapes (provided the game consists of a single file).
Iβm keeping my fingers crossed for its completion π

Wow! I read you magazine and love it. still a work of love, will post updated version soon. Cheers
I'm glad I came across one of our readers π It's nice to meet you π
In that case, I'll be waiting for the full version, and my offer will still stand π
Fun little puzzle game!
Weird choice with the Q/R instead of Q/E, but not important.
I can't figure out how the game decides on which field the higher dice goes after three touching dice.
It says "Settings" on the lower right. How do I access these?
being a one man wreaking crew I completely over looked that, lol. I have fat fingers and the R key felt more natural without realizing ;-)
youre right, will change - the settings is access by moving the box (s) to the bottom. I'll make the access to the settings function more accessible in the future
cheers
